Very important for new home owners or people who like to go Camping a lot. California had planted so many Palm tress. Not sure if they are even Native to that state, but when they Catch Fire, the trees Send Embers everywhere, starting a whole new fire else where. Many states have Flat Dry areas of an Open Field, But do not let it be, USA has this idea of such areas area are a Waste, and NOT MAKEING MONEY. Being Dyslexic myself , and the LOUSY EDUCATION that SO many 10th graders read at a 4th grade level. This book helps to know your land and home area. In USA or if in another Country, and Caught, Knowing a big open dry area , Like a coral for livestock , the fire will skip on by. I think many people are learning about sense of Awareness has been heighten due to snatch and grabbers, Road Raged. A possible shooter, Walking with phone in hand, easier for some one to snatch it.. Living in a city many know when entering, KNOW the law out. How to get out., where to hide.

After my drive upriver to Crater Lake last Sept. I just had an emotional reaction to the Umpqua Forest fire. Very sad and devastated. Now, I will have to go back in the spring to see the new growth. It has been 2+ years now. Thanks, for all the info, especially on the winds. When I lived in the SF bay area, we had what we called Earthquake weather that we would joke about. Just a strange feeling, pressure systems, humidity, winds??

I totally got inspired! I have to overcome still the typical beginners fears: I can not draw, where to start, oh no the fear of the blank page, to much to soon,... But this video gave me some peace of mind, start small, start! do something. I live in Belgium, a small country with most of the time rainy wheather. I was wondering what to do when its to bad wheather outside... I did not think of just taking any picture of the internet en start drawing from there! So easy. PS how do you zoom in and out? Just by researching? I notice that there are no nature journal clubs in Belgium... unfortunally... I would love to join a nearby communicty!
